Since 2020, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea
has been holding the “Future Dialogue for Global Innovation”,
a forum where the public and private sectors diagnose issues
the international community have been facing and
discuss cultural solutions for such issues.

This year, the forum will be held under the theme of ‘Popular Culture shaping Global Values’.

Due to the "disconnection" and "division" caused by the pandemic and wars,
the demand for universal values that everyone can sympathize with,
such as respect for diversity and love for humanity, has been increasing.
In an era where mutual understanding and communication based on universal values are needed,
we would like to bring researchers, popular culture artists, producers, and experts together
to discuss the role of ‘popular culture’.
